Whitehorse hit the road in May this year, for the first time as a family band, and what a show it was! Luke Doucet, Melissa McClelland, their son Jimi Doucet, Luke’s daughter Chloë Doucet, and long time collaborator Johnny Obercian on drums, are travelling across Canada, coast to coast… dare I say it… ”Come on Get Happy”, sorry – had to! If you follow my postings you gone I’ve seen Whitehorse a lot, 8 times I think since 2012, and that doesn’t include last year when they were part of Sarah McLachlan’s tour band. If you’ve never seen Whitehorse you really need to. Seeing them play as a family was extra special the stage presence was truly magical! Luke and Melissa always enjoy playing together, but this time playing with Chloë and Jimi took it to a whole new level the love and pride were having a party and we were privileged to be in attendance. I hope my photos will testify to that! Enjoy – and Luke and Melissa… thank you, you know Caitlin and I are big fans but this show… well, I hope we get to see you again soon! We love you guys… all of you!!
