The Record Club, #103 last night in The White Room, at The Wellington Gastropub, T.Rex Electric Warrior and The Slider was an amazing listen on Ottawa made Tetra Listening Instruments-Speakers! Number 103 under the Mambo Sun, Bang a Gong (Get It On), Life’s a Gas, know what I mean! Some Metal Guru times two, Rock On with Telegram Sam, and even the Main Man (Adrian) was there! Always a good time!
Shane set the playlist, the top 2 albums by T.Rex from 1971 and 1972. I asked if he’d like me to bring along a couple of special pressings that may raise the listening experience. He agreed, so we played a 2017 reissue of Electric Warrior taken from the original Analog Master and recut by the master, Kevin Gray, and a 2020 remaster of The Slider by the great Tony Visconti himself, pressed on clear vinyl! Suhweet!
